Intel has provided some clarification on 5G mobile phone rollout by saying handsets using their next generation chipset won’t be ready until 2020. Now this is only one piece of the puzzle as the 5G Near Radio infrastructure is only just beginning its roll out. 5G promises speeds of up to 100 times faster than 4G LTE but the distance between nodes is greatly reduced to the shorter wavelength employed by 5g for broadcasting.
